Hedgehog cam - Night of 14.7.2017 #hogblog Last night's #hogblog, from the garden Always nice to see a healthy hedgehog in the garden, eating and drinking Getting warm in the evenings now. Hedgehogs will need fresh water. Put a bowl out! - they'll really appreciate it :) As I'm sure you're aware, the UK hedgehog needs our help. Lost of habitat, including clean tidy gardens, less roadside hedgerows, and of course more and more development - meaning less green spaces, are all hitting our much loved little gardeners friend, the hedgehog, hard. Why not try and do your own little bit for them. It's easy........cut an access hole in the bottom of a fence, leave a little water out, even just let a

The clips show how important fresh water is during these warm summer evenings - more so than food, as they'll always find food around Getting warm in the evenings now. Hedgehog cam - Night of 8.7.2017 #hogblog Last night's #hogblog, from the garden It's getting hard to tell between Johnno and Jo. They are both similar sizes, and now that Jo's paint mark is starting to fade a little on her backside it's getting even harder to tell them apart, however I think it was Johnno in the garden last night. He certainly tends to be out early into the dawn hours - as was in this video clip. I notice he (if it is in fact Johnno?) has a tic behind his ear. I'll have to pop out on evening and see if I can get that off for him, with my tic-twister :) Getting warm in the evenings now. Hedgehogs will need fresh water. Put a bowl out! - they'll really appreciate it :) As I'm

Wildlife Trail Camera - 3.7.2017

Hedgehog cam - Night of 2.7.2017 #hogblog Great to see three different hedgehogs all well and sound, in last night’s #hogblog Firstly Johnno makes an appearance, followed by Harold – a rescue released hedgehog that unfortunately lost an eye, then Johnno again. A very brief ‘snif n’ run’ by Jo – another release back into the wild (back with me, in her home territory) from the rescue facility…..and obviously showing off her newly healed healthy feet!! I’m pretty sure it’s Johnno that gets a last drink in before dawn – then it’s over to the wood mouse again to finish the #hogblog video Getting warm in the evenings now. Hedgehogs will need fresh water. Put a bowl out! - they'll really appreciate
